Hi, I'm Eddie
I'm a social change media advocacy and public relations (PR) specialist on a mission to help more women leaders sharpen their media literacy, influence media coverage, and build collective momentum for positive change.
COMBINING BIG PR AGENCY TACTICS WITH ADVOCACY
About Me
For over 15 years, I've been designing and leading media advocacy and strategic PR programs to shape public attitudes, shift behaviours, and influence policy, programs, and legislation for "good"—alongside agencies, governments, non-profits and NGOs, peak bodies, social enterprises, political leaders, and institutions.
Combining big agency PR tactics with values-based advocacy strategies, I now teach mission-driven women leaders how to attract and influence media coverage that supports real-world positive outcomes.
I've also held senior media leadership roles at award winning agencies and non-profits, including as Strategic PR Director for Think HQ and a Senior Media Advisor for a national organisation to prevent violence against women.
Over my 15+ year career, I've been unintentionally doing one thing...
Helping women leaders get seen, quoted and taken seriously in the media so they can be the ones to build public support for the solutions our communities need—in whatever area they're focused on.
ARE WE THE RIGHT FIT?

MYÂ FOCUS
Coverage That Drives Change
My approach is shaped by both sides of the media world—what gets coverage, and what creates change. After graduating with a BA in Communication (Public Relations) from RMIT, I started in major fast-paced PR agencies before moving into campaigning for the prevention of homelessness and family violence. I quickly learned that media visibility is most impactful when it sparks action.
Today, I help leaders get the right stories in front of the right people at the right time. Every piece of coverage is tied to a clear action and mechanism for change—whether that’s influencing funding, legislation, programs and systems, policies, or shifts in attitudes and behaviours.
My work is grounded in ethical, empowering storytelling—supporting people with lived experience to share their stories safely, with agency and purpose to influence positive change.
How Can We Work Together?
I offer foundational training, one-on-one support, and organisational advice for female leaders who want to work smarter not harder and advocate with intention.
